Good news! The SSPA and West River Improvement Association (Galesville's civic association)have received a $12,500 grant from the Chesapeake Bay Trust to construct an oyster reef in the West River. We submitted a joint proposal to do this project in December and we just got the word... Please let me know if you, or anyone in your community, are interested in getting involved in the project - should be a lot of fun...
